Subsurface Engineering Students visited STUVA Expo and Conference 2025 in Hamburg.
Last Monday, the 6th of October, we welcomed the new batch of CompEng and SubSurf students.
From Friday, the 16th of May, to Sunday, the 18th of May, our annual student trip took place – this time we went to Germany‘s infamous capital Berlin again!
On Friday, the 17th of January, this year’s official graduation ceremony of the Faculty of Civil and Environmental Engineering took place. The very first graduates from Subsurface engineering, as well as graduates from Computational Engineering, Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering celebrated the successful completion of their studies.

After the success of last year, the SubSurf and CompEng students were invited by the Support Team to enjoy another exciting bowling evening in Bochum.
The RUB winter break takes place from 21 December 2024 - 6 January 2025 (both days included). There are no lectures or exercises during this time period.
The university will go into "energetic hibernation" from 23 December 2024 until 5 January 2025 and will therefore be literally closed.
The registration for all examinations in the Master's program Subsurface Engineering in the winter semester 2024/25 is possible from 15.11.2024 until 15.01.2025 in FlexNow.
