General Aspects

Are you interested in applying for our Master's programme in Subsurface Engineering? On the following pages, we will guide you through the application process.

In order to apply for the international Master's course Subsurface Engineering at Ruhr-University Bochum, candidates must submit an application via our online application system. The application process is entirely online, so you do not have to submit any documents by post or E-mail. The online application system is generally open for applications from February.

The closing dates for online applications are:

• 15th May for citizens of non-European countries
• 15th July for citizens of the European Union

Please note that an application for the Master's programme in Subsurface Engineering is only possible for the winter semester. Unfortunately, starting the programme in the summer semester is impossible.
